Following the sad loss of an excellent Councillor, Stephen Gibson, we have a vacant position on our Parish Council that needs to be filled. At last we now have someone interested in taking-up that role. That’s great news for all of us in this community. But are you interested? You only have a few days left to stand a chance as during our next meeting on 9th May will seriously consider all written applications from eligible persons. Ask for more information or declare your interest directly to any of your Parish Councillors or to Ann Hartas, our Parish Clerk. (Click on the link)
You must be willing to represent and serve the local community over your own interests and attend Parish Council meetings, usually only six a year but occasionally with additional meetings if there is a need. We have additional occasional working parties also depending upon local needs and you may also wish to represent the Parish at other meetings such as Parish Liaison Meetings at Ryedale District Council.
